Stoney Bridge Principal Buys NZ Bloomsbury Stud

Tuesday, 10th April 2007

Mike Tololi, principal of New Zealand's high profile thoroughbred stud Stoney Bridge, has purchased the 120-hectare Bloomsbury Stud, according to nzthoroughbredfocus. "Bloomsbury Stud is a gorgeous farm and suits our needs as we develop," Tololi commented. "I'm passionate about this industry and have put a lot of investment into it. Stoney Bridge didn't exist three years ago and has now grown to the point that we'll be standing eight stallions next breeding season." Stoney Bridge's line-up includes Postponed, Storming Home, Storm Creek, Ekraar, St Reims, Hawkeye, and Mr Nancho. Their 8th stallion is yet to be announced. Tololi's yearlings are sold under the Twin Pines banner, which is the same name which will be given to Bloomsbury Stud which will be home to broodmares and young stock.
