Inglis Easter Day 1: $2m Redoute's Choice-Egyptian Ibis Colt

A half-brother to Hong Kong Horse of the Year Grand Delight, who raced in Australia as Desert Eagle, set the benchmark on Day 1 of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale when sold for $2 million. Lot 169, consigned by Coolmore Stud, is the 8th living foal of Straight Strike mare Egyptian Ibis, and was purchased by major Kiwi buyer Rob McAnulty, who bases himself these days in Queensland.
