Cuestion De Honor Wins Gr1 Argentine Gran Premio Raul y Raul E. Chevalier

Thursday, 12th April 2007

In Argentina "Cuestion de Honor rebounded from a troubled 4th-place finish in last month's Gr1 Gran Premio Santiago Luro at Palermo with a stylish three-quarter-length victory in the Gr1 Gran Premio Raul y Raul E. Chevalier on Sunday at Hipodromo San Isidro," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. By former Coolmore Stud shuttler Honour and Glory (Relaunch-Fair To All, by Al Nasr), Cuestion de Honor "overhauled race favorite Incasico in the final yards to win Argentina's first Gr1 turf race of the season for 2YO colts". Third, another 2 lengths behind, was Morador Liers. The winner was ridden by Jacinto Rafael Herrera for trainer Facundo Bunge Frers, and is "out of 1997 Argentine Broodmare of the Year Que Ilusion, by Cipayo." The well-credentialled colt is also "a half brother to Argentine-based and former California sire Chullo, a five-time Gr1 winner and 1997 Horse of the Year in his native Argentina".
