Gosford Test Pad For California Track Scouts

With Californian racing authorities having issued a decree that every track in the US State must have a synthetic racing surface, the Sydney Morning Herald reports that two of California's best jockeys will "road test" the Proride Gosford track next Wednesday. The two riders, ranked 4th and 5th on their local premiership, have come to Australia to assist major racetrack Santa Anita determine which synthetic surface might be best.
