Inglis Easter Day 3: Records Tumble Everywhere

By yesterday's close of the 3-day Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, new benchmarks had been set or equalled on every level. The final aggregate $148,215,000 for 445 lots sold was up significantly over the $117,130,000 for 406 lots sold last year, and the overall clearance was a healthy 81.1%. The median price reached a new high of $200,000, up by 11.1% on last year, whilst the average of $332,545 was up 15% on last year's average price of $288,497, and was achieved after a phenomenal average yesterday of $373,466 which saw 14 individual horses sell for $1 million or more.
