Carnegie House Wins Gr3 Frank Packer Plate

Monday, 16th April 2007

Darley shuttler Carnegie (Sadler's Wells-Detroit, by Riverman) celebrated a Group success when consistent 3YO colt Carnegie House (Carnegie-Platonic, by Nassipour) finished strongly to win the $120,000 Gr3 AJC Frank Packer Plate (2000m) for 3YOs at Randwick. Ridden by Corey Brown for trainer Anthony Cummings, Carnegie House had half-a-length to spare from fellow colt Empire's Choice (Redoute's Choice-Rosie's Star, by Star Way) and stablemate filly Deloraine (More Than Ready-Mysterious Sound, by Danzig) who was a further length in arrears. Carnegie House's record now stands at 2 wins & 4 placings from 7 starts for $118,500 earnings.
