Run on Keeneland's all-weather Polytrack for the 1st time, the margin to 3rd-placed Zanjero (Cherokee Run-Checkered Flag, by A.P. Indy) was a head. "Dominican, who is nominated to the Gr1 Kentucky Derby was coming off a 5-length win in the Rushaway Stakes on the Turfway Park Polytrack and has won all 3 of his starts on synthetic surface." The winner, bred by Barak Farm, was ridden by Rafael Bejarano for trainer Darrin Miller, and his 3 wins from 7 starts have netted connections US$596,259.
