International Stakes Double For Stravinsky

Cambridge Stud shuttler Stravinsky (Nureyev-Fire The Groom, by Blushing Groom), whose yearlings sold to $480,000 at the Inglis Easter Sale, celebrated two international stakes wins over the weekend, according to thoroughbredinternet.com. In Japan, Irish-bred Kongo Rikishio (Stravinsky-Principium, by Hansel) won the Gr2 Yomiuri Milers Cup (1600m) at Hanshin, while at Canada's Woodbine circuit, Stradavinsky (Stravinsky-Lubicon, by Apalachee) romped home in the Listed Jacques Cartier Stakes (6 furlongs).
