Omen Tip For Bentley Biscuit

Thursday, 19th April 2007

Australia's rising sprint star Bentley Biscuit (Peintre Celebre-Tycoon Joy, by Last Tycoon) may have had an omen tip at England's Newmarket yesterday when Coolmore Stud's former shuttler Peintre Celebre (Nureyev-Peinture Bleue, by Alydar) provided the quinella in the Listed Feildon Stakes (9 furlongs), courtesy of 3YO sons Petara Bay & Salford Mill. Bentley Biscuit (a $120,000 yearling consigned by Edinglassie Stud at the 2003 Inglis Easter Sale) is believed to be a big chance of tackling the crème of Europe's sprinters this English summer following the Gai-Waterhouse trained star's Gr1 sprint double at Randwick during the just-completed Carnival.
