Friday, 20th April 2007

Fresh off announcing California Dane as his stud farm's new recruit, Baerami's principal Paul Higgins could have another reason to have a spring in his step by 4.35pm tomorrow. The Gr1 Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m), which honours the late founder of dual hemisphere Swettenham Stud, has as its favourite, 3YO filly Universal Queen (Scenic-Biscay Bird, by Bluebird. The other Gr1 feature on the card is the Gr1 Schweppes Oaks (2000m).
