Anabaa Adds French Black-Type

Thursday, 26th April 2007

Widden Stud shuttler Anabaa (Danzig-Balbonella, by Gay Mecene) added a French black-type success when 3YO colt No Dream (Anabaa-Quiet Dream, by Seattle Slew) proved too strong for his rivals in Gr1 French Derby lead-up, the Listed Prix de Suresnes (2000m) for 3YO colts & geldings at Chantilly. Ridden by Olivier Peslier for trainer Carlos Laffon-Parias, No Dream won by a half-length from fellow colt Nearby (King's Best-Contiguous, by Danzig) & gelding Troque (Enrique-The Trollop, by Double Bed).
