Blue Sky Offers Dr Green Shares

Thoroughbred management company Blue Sky Thoroughbreds is offering shares (20 available) in Palmaday Stud's exciting young Fusaichi Pegasus sire-son Dr Green (Fusaichi Pegasus-Palia, by Last Tycoon). Dr Green (a NZ$480,000 yearling at the 2004 NZB Premier Sale at Karaka) won NZ's 2004 Listed Wellesley Stakes (1000m) at Trentham on debut & then finished 2nd in the Listed Counties Challenge Stakes (1100m); among 4 starts in Sydney as a 2YO during the 2005 autumn he finished 3rd in the Gr2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) & 4th in the Gr2 Todman Slipper Trial Stakes (1200m), before finishing unplaced in the Gr1 Golden Slipper (1200m). He returned to the track as a 3YO later in 2005 to win the Listed Wanganui Guineas (1320m) & then run 2nd in the Gr2 Hawke's Bay Guineas (1400m) at Hastings (behind multiple Gr1-winning Kiwi star Darci Brahma). Transferred to Hong Kong, Dr Green notched placings in both the 2006 Lusitano Challenge Cup (1200m) & Skol Cup (1200m). Dr Green's dam Palia (winner of Australia's Gr3 Emancipation Stakes over 1600m & 4th 3 times at Gr1 level in Australia & NZ) is a half-sister to multiple Group-placed stakes-winner Just Awesome, Gr2-placed stakes-winner Rainbow Alley, stakes-placed Glen Avon Lodge stallion Markane & stakes-placed Lay Capel (whose progeny include dual Group-winner Casino Prince & dual stakes-winner Lord Of The Land). Set to stand his 2007 debut season at the GST inclusive fee of $6,600, each share in Dr Green will cost $19,050 with GST to be added, and will entitle the holder to 2 free nominations in each of the 1st 3 years, plus 1 free nomination each year thereafter.
