Former Vinery Stud shuttler & 1998 Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner Real Quiet (Quiet American-Really Blue, by Believe It) added a US group success when front-running 4YO entire Silent Pleasure (Real Quiet-Wholelotapleasure, by Vice Regent) prevailed by a neck to score his 4th consecutive stakes victory in the US$300,000 Gr3 Texas Mile Stakes (8 furlongs) at Lone Star Park. Silent Pleasure (ridden by Tracy Herbert for trainer Howard Scarberry) defeated favoured fellow 4YO entire Bob And John (Seeking The Gold-Minister's Melody, by Deputy Minister) & Dreamsandvisions (Kipling-Nurse Linda K, by Dr Adagio). Bargain-buy Silent Pleasure (a US$2,700 yearling at the October 2004 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Sale) now has 6 wins (also including last start's Listed Gulf Coast Breeders' Cup Classic over 8.5 furlongs at Delta Downs) from 15 starts for US$396,555 earnings.
