Sulamani Debut Shuttle To Brazil

Meanwhile 6-time Gr1-winning Darley sire Sulamani (Hernando-Soul Dream, by Alleged) "is set to shuttle to Brazil's Haras Calunga in Sao Paulo under a lease agreement," reported racingpost.co.uk. Sulamani "has been at the UK's Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket for a fee of £7,000 (A$16,800) since entering stud in 2005"; he covered 75 mares in 2005 & another 119 in 2006 "with his 1st group of 7 foals to sell bringing an average 22,485 guineas (A$58,500)". Sulamani (a half-brother to Gr1 Irish Derby & fellow Gr1 Prix du Jockey-Club winner Dream Well) won 9 of 17 starts (including the Gr1 Arlington Million, Gr1 Sheema Classic, Gr1 Turf Classic, Gr1 Juddmonte International & Gr1 Canadian International).
