King Latarmiss Wins Caloundra Cup

Monday, 2nd July 2007

In Australia, Kingdale Lodge stallion Latarmiss (Sadler's Wells-Foreign Courier, by Sir Ivor) added a black-type success when despised outsider 6YO gelding King Latarmiss (Latarmiss-Regal Finish, by Coronation Day) made light work of the heavy conditions to post a convincing win in the $200,000 Listed Caloundra City Cup (2400m) on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Ridden by Ken Pope for trainer Trevor Miller, King Latarmiss won by 2.25-lengths from 4YO entire Scattergun (Quest For Fame-Unbeleevable, by Zabeel) with the same margin to 8YO gelding Cold Start (Biscay Wonder-Balmerino Miss, by Balmerino). King Latarmiss now has 9 wins & 13 placings from 64 starts for earnings of $317,692.
