UK Collin Stud Sold To Bahrain Buyer

Monday, 3rd September 2007

Meanwhile Collin Stud outside Newmarket in Stetchworth "has been purchased by Fawzi Nass from Bahrain & will revert to its original name of Aislabie Stud," reported thoroughbredinternet.com. Oliver St Lawrence from bloodstock agents McKeever St Lawrence (who will manage the stud on Nass's behalf) commented: "The stud has not had a horse on it since early spring, which will have done it a power of good. The paddocks will continue to be rested & put back in top condition, with us opening our doors to outside mares late 2008. Since previous owner Neil Adam died, the place has been in limbo & there is now to be an extensive program of renovation & improvements." Nass currently boards mares at Stanley House Stud & also has horses in training in England spread between Peter Chapple-Hyam, Gerard Butler, David Simcock & Christine Dunnett; Naas himself trains a stable of 40 horses in Bahrain.
