Equine Influenza Spreads To Hunter Valley

Equine influenza "has spread to Australia's breeding heartland with a broodmare on a NSW Upper Hunter Valley breeding farm testing positive," reported ABC radio this morning. Hunter Valley Rural Lands Protection Board vet Jim Kerr revealed: "We have had one confirmed sample come from one of the thoroughbred broodmare properties at Blandford (north of Scone)."
