O'Shea Calls For Vic Horses To Be Vaccinated

In Sydney, just 4 horses were worked at Randwick yesterday as trainer John O'Shea "made a strong plea for all Victorian horses to be vaccinated against equine influenza," reported racenet.com.au. O'Shea said within 6 weeks of being vaccinated the thoroughbred population of Victoria would be protected from the virus & warned: "It is going through Randwick like you would not believe." O'Shea said it was "vital that the racing industry of Victoria be protected".
