Canberra Approval For Racing Today

Friday, 7th September 2007

Racing also returns to Canberra's Thoroughbred Park today after the club was cleared to conduct the 7-race program. Chief executive Peter Stubbs con firmed that, unlike the in-house Warwick Farm meeting on Saturday, today's Canberra program will be open to the general public. Stubbs noted: "The plan that was approved allows entry for the public under restricted zoning. We will have a red zone that is restricted to people associated with running the race meeting & horse activities & track activities. A green zone will be for the public & both those zones will be separated by an orange zone."
