Horse Movement Starts Again In Japan

The Japan Racing Association announced the ban on movement of horses between JRA & non-JRA facilities has been partially lifted. Since August 15, 193 horses in JRA facilities "have been found clinically positive for equine influenza"; however the situation in JRA facilities "was brought under control about 10 days after the initial case & no new clinically positive cases have been reported since August 27".
