Murrihy Confident More Sydney Racing This Week

Monday, 10th September 2007

Following the return of racing to Sydney on Saturday (via the closed meeting at Warwick Farm with strict biosecurity measures), Racing NSW chief steward Ray Murrihy said he was confident of approval from the Department Of Primary Industries today to hold further race meetings in Sydney this week. Murrihy confirmed: "The DPI said they'll have a debriefing session on Monday. It will then be up to the Racing NSW board to decide on the next move as far as trying to decide where to conduct some more racing."
