Light Green Wins Brazil Gr1 Toledo Lara
In Brazil, Light Green (Blush Rambler-Star Procida, by Procida) notched her 2nd successive Gr1 triumph with victory in the Gr1 Grande Premio Henrique De Toledo Lara (1800m on turf) for 3YO fillies at Hipodromo Cidade Jardim (& 1st leg of Sao Paulo's Triple Crown). Light Green (ridden by Mario Fontoura for trainer Pedro Nickel) defeated Bale Slew (Quinze Quilates-Tessy Slew, by Tsunami Slew) & Zambra (Know Heights-Zapara, by Restless Jet). At her previous start Light Green also won last month's Gr1 Grande Premio Barao de Piracicaba (1st leg of Sao Paulo's Triple Crown for 3YO fillies) over 1600m on turf at Cidade Jardim. Light Green now has 4 wins from 5 starts.
