Rock Of Gibraltar Adds US Black-Type

In the US, Coolmore shuttler Rock Of Gibraltar (Danehill-Offshore Boom, by Be My Guest) added a black-type success when English Colony (Rock Of Gibraltar-Jemima, by Owington) scored a 2.75-lengths victory in the US$76,000 Listed Lights And Music Stakes (7 furlongs on turf) for 3YOs at Belmont Park in New York. William Farish home-bred English Colony (ridden by Cornelio Velasquez for trainer Angel Penna) defeated Quietly Mine (Belong To Me-Quiet, by Roar) & Perfect Casting (Diesis-Seasonal Style, by Generous). Earlier this season English Colony also won July's Listed Inside The Belt Way Stakes (6 furlongs on turf) at Belmont Park.
