4 UK Tracks Caught In Foot & Mouth Biosecurity Plan

Also overnight in the UK, "biosecurity measures were extended to 4 racecourses & 1 training site by the British Horseracing Authority after the government made adjustments to the surveillance zones set up in the wake of the latest foot & mouth outbreak," reported racingpost.co.uk. In addition to Kempton, Windsor & Ascot, "Sandown also now falls within the 10km control area". The 4 racecourses "will all continue to race & carry out vehicular disinfection as per the British Horseracing Authority's biosecurity requirements".
