UK Yearlings Day-2: $83k Elusive City Colt

Irish agent Bobby O'Ryan out-bid fellow agent Peter Doyle & also paid 32,000 guineas (A$83,000) for a colt from NZ Hanui Farm's shuttler Elusive City's 1st crop (out of Pennekamp mare Princess Magdalena) consigned from the Browne family's Meadowlands Stud in Ireland's County Tipperary. The colt will join owner Rob Lloyd's new racing stable at Peckforton in Cheshire & O'Ryan told racingpost.co.uk: He looked a very sharp horse who should make a 2YO." The colt previously sold for €21,000 (A$34,000) at Tattersalls Ireland's December Sale last year.
