Coolmore Buys 50% In US Gr1-Winning Colt Majestic Warrior

Wednesday, 19th September 2007

Meanwhile Coolmore has purchased a half-interest in this month's Gr1 Hopeful Stakes winner Majestic Warrior (A.P.Indy-Dream Supreme, by Seeking The Gold) from the Steinbrenner family's Kinsman Stables, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Kinsman manager Jim Scott confirmed the unbeaten 2YO home-bred colt (whose dam Dream Supreme is a multiple Gr1-winner) "will remain in the care of US Racing-Hall-Of-Fame trainer Bill Mott". Majestic Warrior scored by 3.5-lengths on debut at Saratoga on August 4 & followed-up with a 2.5-lengths victory in the Gr1 Hopeful Stakes (7 furlongs) at Saratoga on September 2. Majestic Warrior "is one of the best-bred juveniles around & will stand at Coolmore America's Ashford Stud when he retires," noted thoroughbredinternet.com.
