Singapore Races To Debut In Macau

Friday, 21st September 2007

The Singapore Turf Club & Macau Jockey Club announced they are "in the process of finalising a partnership to televise Singapore races live to Macau & for the MJC to operate the totalisator on Singapore races". STC vice president Teo Kim Heng noted: "This is very much in line with our strategic plan to bring Singapore races to a wider audience overseas & Macau will join Australia & South Africa, where Singapore races are already broadcast live." MJC betting controller Ronnie Chan added: "We have submitted the application to the Macau Gaming Authority & expect their approval sometime this October."
