US Gr1-Winner Political Force To Stud At Claiborne After Racing

Monday, 24th September 2007

Meanwhile US Gr1 Suburban Handicap-winning 4YO stallion Political Force (Unbridled's Song-Glitter Woman, by Glitterman) "will stand at Claiborne Farm in Kentucky at the conclusion of his racing career," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Claiborne raised Political Force (whose dam Glitter Woman was also a Gr1-winner) & spokesman Bernie Sams commented: "We stood his grandsire Unbridled & now stand Eddington (another son of Unbridled) & that has worked well for us. You add the brilliance of this horse's family & we see him as a tremendous prospect." Political Force won the Gr1 Suburban Handicap (10 furlongs) at Belmont on June 30, after finishing 2nd in the Gr1 Metropolitan Handicap (8 furlongs) at Belmont in May; he was also placed in the 2005 Gr3 Nashua Stakes, plus both this year's Gr3 Skip Away Handicap & Gr3 Westchester Handicap.
