De Seroux US$3.5m Settlement To Jackson

Narvick International president Emmanuel de Seroux "has agreed to pay Jess Jackson US$3.5million to settle the Stonestreet Farm owner's lawsuit against his former bloodstock adviser," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. A trial was scheduled to begin next Tuesday (October 2) in which Jackson "accused de Seroux & several other advisers of receiving secret payments from sellers while advising Jackson to purchase horses at inflated prices". Jackson had previously settled claims against bloodstock agents Fernando Diaz-Valdez, Frederic Sauque & Brad Martin, plus trainer Bruce Headley.
