NSW Teams Prepare To Vaccinate

With the 1st doses of vaccine due to arrive in Australia today, NSW chief steward Ray Murrihy confirmed a team of 50 stewards & veterinarians "are on standby" to begin inoculating NSW racehorses against equine influenza from tomorrow. Murrihy revealed the vaccine would be administered by groups of 5 stewards & 5 veterinarians sent to each of Rosehill & Newcastle, plus groups of 4 stewards & 4 vets to Gosford, Wyong & Kembla.
