1st Winner For German Derby Hero Dai Jin

In Europe, 2003 Gr1.Deutsches Derby winner Dai Jin (Peintre Celebre-Dawlah, by Shirley Heights) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO colt Liang Kai (Dai Jin-Linton Bay, by Funambule) scored by 2-lengths at Cologne, reported racingpost.co.uk. Dai Jin retired to stud after winning 4 of his 8 starts & over £400,000 (A$960,000) prize-money; his other victories included Germany's Gr1 Credit Suisse Private Banking-Pokal & Gr2 Oppenheim-Union-Rennen. He stood this season at Gestut Zoppenbroich for €7,500 (A$12,000).
