Gerry Harvey's Horse Flu Blues

Friday, 28th September 2007

Quote-Of-The-Week on the Horse Flu Crisis: Ever-amusing Gerry Harvey told The Sydney Morning Herald's entertaining CBD business section column: "I'm in diabolical trouble. I'm probably more affected than any other bugger in the country because I've got 1,000 horses. I've got Magic Millions; I've got 3 horse studs; I've got 120 horses in racing all over the place in stables. Holy Moses! On top of that I've got 19,000 cattle in a feedlot where feed's gone from 150 bucks a tonne to 400 a tonne. I'm getting the greatest thrashing of all time."
