Former Shuttler Brahms Moves To Elite Thoroughbreds
Former Vinery Stud shuttler & Gr1 Hollywood Derby winner Brahms (Danzig-Queens, by Mr Prospector) "will stand the 2008 breeding season at Elite Thoroughbreds in Louisiana as part of a 3-year lease arrangement," reported bloodhorse.com. Brahms (who previously stood at Dr Tom Simon's Vinery in Kentucky) has sired 7 stakes-winners (including US 2007 Gr2 Strub Stakes & US 2006 Gr2 Swaps Breeders' Cup Stakes winner Arson Squad, US 2006 Forerunner Stakes winner Up An Octave & Australian group-winner Real Mak) & 10 stakes-placed runners for US$ 6.4 million progeny earnings. On the track himself, Brahms was also twice Gr1-placed in England as a 2YO & earned US$843,050.
