Carnero Wins Inglis Premier

Darley shuttler Carnegie (Sadler's Wells-Detroit, by Riverman) added a juvenile feature success when his colt Carnero (Carnegie-Matter, by Octagonal) scored a 2.5-lengths victory in the $350,000 Inglis Premier (1200m) for 2YOs at Caulfield. Carnero (ridden by Brad Rawiller for trainer Dean Binaisse) defeated fast-finishing fellow colts Holy Request (Hold That Tiger-Vickers, by Flying Spur) & Stokehouse (Anabaa-Malapert, by Encosta de Lago). Carnero (a $30,000 yearling consigned by Independent Stallions at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) now has 2 wins & a placing from 3 starts for $282,900 earnings.
