Eliza Park Incorporates Paringa Park

Monday, 3rd March 2008

Eliza Park announced it will lease the North East Victoria property Paringa Park "to facilitate the expansion of its core operation". With its headquarters at Kerrie in Victoria's Macedon Ranges & an 800-acres "rearing facility" at Berrigan in NSW, Eliza Park's decision to lease Paringa "continues an expansion which earlier this year saw the establishment of an Asian office in Singapore". Eliza Park chief executive Cameron Croucher explained: "Paringa Park will be renamed Eliza Park Nagambie & operate as a walk-on farm for our ever-expanding stallion roster. Eliza's stallion lineup is now a formidable force within the Australian Industry & with mare numbers growing to over 1,000 last year - and a similar number expected this year - we have been looking for an ideal facility that supplements the wide requirements of our organisation. Tim Breadmore has done a marvellous job establishing Paringa Park over the past 5 years and, in a sense, it's the perfect walk-on for Eliza Park, as the property is fully functional & clearly one of the best thoroughbred facilities in the north east region of Victoria. Paringa Park (900-acres) is simply ideal with good pastures, staff & facilities along with 400mg water licence & a good client base, all within 1 hour of our main farm at Romsey." Tim Breadmore added: "I am now based full-time in Dubai. And despite a highly competent support team, it became increasingly difficult to progress what I believe to be the superior operation of its kind in north east Victoria. Therefore, when the opportunity arose to lease the property & see it continue to thrive under the Eliza Park umbrella, it just made good sense to amalgamate."
