Forensics Wins Light Fingers Stakes

Monday, 3rd March 2008

Arrowfield Stud sire Flying Spur (Danehill-Rolls, by Mr Prospector) added a group success when last season's Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Forensics (Flying Spur-Prove It, by Dehere) returned from a 21-weeks spell to score by a neck in the $125,000 Gr2 Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) for 3YO fillies at Randwick. Forensics (ridden by Rod Quinn for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated Sliding Cube (Rock Of Gibraltar-Shantha's Choice, by Canny Lad) & Seething Duck (My Henrysee-Hot Saucy Duck, by Personal Hope). Forensics (a $900,000 yearling purchased by Woodlands Stud & consigned by Arrowfield at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney) now has 4 wins (also including 2007's Gr1 Golden Slipper over 1200m at Rosehill & Gr3 Kindergarten Stakes over 1100m at Warwick Farm) from 9 starts for $2,197,450 earnings.
