The 1st foal from multiple Gr1-winning 8YO mare Pride (Peintre Celebre-Specificity, by Alleged) is a colt by former Coolmore shuttler & Gr1 English Derby winner Galileo (Sadler's Wells-Urban Sea, by Miswaki) born at Willingham House Stud in Newmarket, reported racingpost.co.uk. Pride retired at the end of 2006 with 9 wins (including 2006's Gr1 Hong Kong International Cup over 2000m at Sha Tin, UK Gr1 Champion Stakes over 10 furlongs at Newmarket & both France's Gr1 Grand Prix De Saint-Cloud over 2400m & Gr2 Prix Corrida over 2000m at Saint-Cloud, plus 2005's French Gr2 Prix Foy Gray D'Albion Barriere & Gr2 Prix Jean Romanet) & 9 placings (including runner-ups in 2006's French Gr1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe over 2400m at Longchamp, plus both 2005's UK Gr1 Champion Stakes & Gr1 Hong Kong Cup) from 26 starts for US$3.9 million earnings.
