Enemy Of Average Joins Riverdene Roster
Riverdene Stud at Wagga Wagga in southern NSW has secured Listed SAJC Walter Brown Stakes winner Enemy Of Average (Fusaichi Pegasus-Patrona, by Lomond). The juvenile stakes-winner is a half-brother to dual Gr1-winning Darley stallion Exceed And Excel, whose yearling colt this week established a new Inglis Premier Sale record of $750,000. Himself an $800,000 purchase at the 2005 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney, Enemy Of Average was raced by the Perrin brothers of the Billabong Clothing label but was sidelined after recurring back injuries. Riverdene Stud has made several shares in the horse available, with the Perrin brothers retaining a 20% stake. He will stand alongside established Riverdene stallions Half Hennessy, High Rolling, Jeune King Prawn, Marwina, Seidnazar, Sports Works & Zariz.
