In the US, Gr2-winning 5YO mare Oprah Winney (Royal Academy-Mere Presence, by Woodman) "has been retired to Hidden Brook Farm in Kentucky & will be bred to Horse-Of-The-Year Ghostzapper," reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Plans also call for Oprah Whinney "to be offered in the Hidden Brook consignment at one of the November breeding stock sales" & the farm's director of bloodstock & sales Chris Broithers declared: "She was nothing short of brilliant on the racetrack! She had world class speed & the heart of a lion. With her pedigree, race-record & physical qualities, she certainly has all of the credentials breeders desire."
