5 Aust-Breds Win In Singapore

In Singapore, 5 Australian-bred gallopers notched victories at Kranji:

  • 5YO gelding Fusaichi Storm (Fusaichi Pegasus-Canny Lass, by Bletchingly) scored his 2nd successive win over 1700m for Australian trainer John Meagher; Fusaichi Storm (a $325,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney) won twice in Australia (at Newcastle & Kembla Grange) before heading to Singapore, where he has added 3 wins from 18 starts.
  • 6YO gelding Prior Viscount (End Sweep-Sally Klaire) scored over 1200m for trainer Hideyuki Takaoka; Prior Viscount was a $60,000 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 3YO colt Dragon Gate (Bletchley Park-Dauberval's Prayer) scored over 1200m for trainer Desmond Koh; Dragon Gate was a $80,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Lucky Banker (Eternity Range-Watch Your Partner) scored over 1000m for trainer David Hill; Lucky Banker was a $27,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Orion (Esperero-Exist) scored over 1200m for trainer Desmond Koh; Orion was an $18,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Ready-To-Run Sale in Melbourne.
