And yesterday, another 6 Australian-bred gallopers (3 each for Australian trainers John Meagher & Don Baertschiger) scored on the 11-race Sunday card at Kranji:

  • 5YO gelding Lim's Fighter (Flying Spur-Sky Watch) notched his 10th victory in winning the Gr3 Kranji Sprint (1200m) for Meagher; Lim's Fighter was a $95,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO gelding Lim's Joy (Johan Cruyff-Misdirection) won over 1600m for Meagher; Lim's Joy was a $14,000 yearling at the 2005 QBBS Sale & subsequently a $75,000 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO entire Lim's Hero (Hurricane Sky-Aphasia) won over 1200m for Meagher; Lim's Hero was a $50,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Premier Sale.
  • 10YO gelding Imperial Treasure (Mr Greeley-Double Sensation) won over 1600m for Baertschiger; Imperial Treasure was a $7,500 weanling at the 1998 Victorian June Sale (now the Great Southern Sale) & subsequently a $17,000 yearling at the 1999 ABCOS Yearling Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Carry On Glory (Carry The Flag-Amazona) won over 1400m for Baertschiger; Carry On Glory was a $20,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Innocent Star (Mr Innocent-Creola) won over 1200m for Baertschiger; Innocent Star was a passed-in for $16,000 as a yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
