In New Zealand, former Trelawney Stud shuttler Van Nistelrooy (Storm Cat-Halory, by Halo) added a Gr1 triumph when daughter Boundless (Van Nistelrooy-Nothing Less, by Star Way) grabbed victory by a short-neck in the NZ$400,000 Gr1 NZ Oaks (2400m) for 3YO fillies at Trentham in Wellington. Front-running Boundless (ridden by Hayden Tinsley for trainer Stephen McKee) defeated Referred (Postponed-Strike Me Pink, by Straight Strike) & Pentura (Pentire-Lucky Partner, by Take Your Partner). Boundless (a NZ$80,000 yearling at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) took her record to 3 wins & 2 placings (including 2007's Listed Soliloquy Stakes over 1400m at Ellerslie) from 11 starts.
