Phylarba Park Stud stallion Love A Dane (Danehill-Tristalove, by Sir Tristram) added a group success when favoured 4YO mare Translate (Love A Dane-Secret's Out, by Key Business) scored a 1.75-lengths victory in the $200,000 Gr3 Matron Stakes (1600m) for fillies & mares at Flemington. Translate (ridden by Craig Williams for trainer David Hayes) defeated 5YO mare Trick Of Light (Dansili-Stardom, by Known Fact) & 6YO mare Like It Is (Distorted Humor-Out In Style, by Brave Regent). Translate (a $6,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale) now has 5 wins & 11 placings (including last start's Gr3 Mannerism Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield on February 23, plus 2007's Gr1 Myer Classic over 1600m at Flemington, Listed Belmont Oaks over 2000m at Belmont Park & Listed Belmont Guineas over 1600m at Belmont Park, as well as 2006's Gr2 WA Guineas over 1600m at Ascot & Listed Burgess Queen Stakes over 1400m at Ascot) from 22 starts for $451,135 earnings.
