In Argentina, La Plata's top ranked juvenile colt Bigness Emperor (Emperor Jones-Grand Bijou, by Gem Master) "made his return to Hipodromo Palermo a triumphant one with a solid victory in the Gr1 Gran Premio Santiago Luro (1200m on dirt) for 2YO colts in Buenos Aires, stamping himself the nation's leading juvenile" reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Bigness Emperor (ridden by Jorge Ricardo for trainer Osvaldo Borelli) defeated Blues And Rock (Casual Meeting-Free Many, by Freelancer) & Kalah Honour (Honour And Glory-Kalath, by Kaljerry). This was the 3rd straight group victory for Bigness Emperor (bred by Juan Carlos Bago's Haras Firmamento) & overall he now has 4 wins (also including both the Gr3 Clasico Agustin Gambier over 1200m at La Plata on March 6 & Gr3 Clasico Luis Maria Doyhenard over 1000m at La Plata on February 7, plus runner-up in the Gr3 Clasico Congreve over 1000m at San Isidro in January) from 7 starts.
