O'Shea Says Racing To Win Doncaster Non-Runner At 60.5kg
Tuesday, 18th March 2008
Racing To Win's bid to win a 2nd Gr1 Doncaster Handicap "is almost certainly over following the release of weights for the famous mile," reported racenet.com.au. The 2006 winner heads this year's handicaps with 60.5kg & trainer John O'Shea "immediately ruled the 4-time Gr1-winner out of the race" declaring: "There is no historical precedent to give the horse that much weight."
