Magic Millions Day-2: $800k Redoute's Choice Colt
Roger Langley (bidding on behalf of Nathan Tinkler's Patinack Farm) paid $800,000 for another colt by Arrowfield Stud stallion Redoute's Choice (the 2nd foal out of 8YO unraced Timber Country mare Redwood) also consigned by Baramul Stud. The colt's dam Redwood is a half-sister to both multiple Gr1-winner & $1.49 million-earner Lotteria, as well as Gr1-placed Rose Of Sharon. Langley commented: "There are some really lovely yearlings here & we've been delighted with the quality of stock we've purchased. This colt will be the first we've placed with (Sydney trainer) Gai Waterhouse."
