Niconero & Seachange Long Odds in Dubai

Friday, 28th March 2008

In the United Arab Emirates, Australian dual Gr1-winning 6YO gelding Niconero (Danzero-Nicola Lass, by Scenic) & Queenslander Dick Karreman's 7-time Gr1-winning 5YO mare & current NZ Horse-Of-The-Year Seachange (Cape Cross-Just Cruising, by Broad Reach) are both at long odds for Sunday's US$5 million Gr1 Dubai Duty Free (1777m on turf) on the Dubai World Cup card at Nad Al Sheba. Niconero (to be ridden by Australian jockey Craig Williams for trainer David Hayes) is at 25-1 in the market framed by leading UK bookmaking form William Hill, while Seachange (trained by Ralph Manning) is at 20-1.
