Lindsay Park Restructure Sees Sam Hayes Take Reins

Tuesday, 8th July 2008

Lindsay Park Stud has issued a press release confirming a major restructure which now has Sam Hayes as the majority shareholder. The release from Sam Hayes states: "David Hayes will retain 100% of David Hayes Holdings which includes the Racing Stable and the Angaston property upon which the Stud operates. Whilst remaining one of the Lindsay Park Studs biggest clients and a key investor in stallions David has relinquished his shareholding in the stud so as to focus even more of his attention on training winners. As part of this progression we will be establishing a new Lindsay Park Stud Board with the first appointment being Mr Darren Thomas. Darren is the Managing Director of one of Australia's fastest growing family owned businesses, T&R Pastoral, based at Murray Bridge in South Australia. Darren will also be taking an equity holding in Lindsay Park Stud." Lindsay Park's stallion line-up for the 2008 season includes: Barely A Moment ($16,500), De Beers ($6,600), Face Value ($6,600), Good Journey ($18,000) & Real Jester ($5,500).
