1st Winner For Darley Freshman Sire Sulamani

In the UK overnight, multiple Gr1-winning 9YO Darley 1st-crop sire Sulamani (Hernando-Soul Dream, by Alleged) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO colt Dazinski (Sulamani-Shuheb, by Nashwan) scored over 7 furlongs at Yarmouth for trainer Mark Tomkins. Sulamani (a half-brother to 1998 European Horse-Of-The-Year Dream Well) stands for €8,000 (A$13,600) at Normandy-based Haras du Logis in France & has 54 2YOs in his 1st-crop. On the track, Sulamani won 9 of 17 starts (including the 2002 Gr1 Prix du Jockey Club-French Derby, 2003 US Gr1 Arlington Million Stakes, 2003 US Gr1 Turf Classic Invitational Stakes, 2003 UAE Gr1 Dubai Sheema Classic, 2004 UK Gr1 Juddmonte International Stakes & 2004 Canadian Gr1 International Stakes) & earned US$5,252,368.
