US Sire Ballindaggin Euthanased Age 23
US multiple stakes-winning stallion Ballindaggin (who swept the 1987 New York Stallion Series) was euthanased at the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute "because of severe back problems caused by degenerative arthritis" aged 23, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Ballindaggin (by Noble Nashua) won 4 of 14 starts & earned US$946,894. As a stallion, Ballindaggin produced 22 winners.
